Again this year, Slush Puppie Canada is proud to play an important role as a platinum partner in the Défi Entreprise 2013 corporate challenge to support la Fondation du CÉGEP de l’Outaouais. The 2013 edition will be held under the honorary presidency of Jean-Rock Beaudoin, President of Slush Puppie Canada inc., and Alain Tremblay, CPA. CA. CA-IT, President of LMT Chartered Accountants. This year’s theme is On s’active pour la relève (‘‘Working out for the future’’) and our goal is to raise $75,000.
Mrs Louise Poirier, president of Conseil de développement du sport de Gatineau (CDSG), was extremely happy and proud to announce, on february 28, 2013, the identity of CDSG’s first platinum partner, Slush Puppie, a well-known business from the national Capital area.
Both organizations’ common mission regarding youth and sports allowed this partnership to grow, eventually leading to the creation of a fund for emerging young athletes. “Slush Puppie is proud to support local young athletes in the pursuit of their goals and dreams” said Mr Jean-Rock Beaudoin, president of Slush Puppie Canada.
In the wake of its ever-expanding community involvement, Slush Puppie wishes to actively contribute to the athletic development of our youth by getting involved with events such as the Jeux du Québec, the Fondation du Cégep de l’Outaouais and, today, with the Conseil de développement du sport de Gatineau (CDSG).
This new partnership is worth $20,000. It will allow the creation of a new fund for Outaouais’ emerging young athletes, the Fonds de développement Slush Puppie pour l’émergence sportive en Outaouais.
